ive had to break out of that headspace for phonecalls, but it is really hard after being nonverbal for a few hrs lol. When my parents call my excuse for why i sound weird is just "i just woke from a nap" and if a friend calls me for something, they just gotta deal with me talking and having the vocab of a preschooler
