Interesting. I hadn't read "baiting" with that negative interpretation, but fully see where you are coming from with it.
I read it more as "good strategy" rather than "low-handed tricks" which changes the message a lot depending on interpretation of that word.
I'm curious how others are interpreting that phrasing. I may be fully off-base with my initial claim if many interpret it similarly to you.
