this has finally finished rendering 10 days later...made a mistake in modifying the code to get this to work that produces some weird visual artifacts, and it's currently 40 mins (270 MB) that needs to be edited down, but for the first 30 of those minutes it is almost boring how remarkably stable it is! It's basically 2000 years of no speed up, just stable, relatively close orbiting massive stars, followed by 7000 years of slowly increasing chaos. Will hopefully publish something tomorrow :)
