Interesting.
I was never really into Spelljammer (though art from some of the old books back in the day was pretty amazing). So I wasn't aware of the Hadozee.
But their appearance reminds me a lot of the Yazirians, which were a species of aliens from Star Frontiers, a more sci-fi focused game by the same company (well, the company's precursor).
Yazirians had the same odd gliding membrane attachment.
