They really can’t create… just destroy one movie after another. Funny thing — I didn’t even know the original Grimm version until I got the storybook to read for my daughters. The prince tries to buy her, the dwarves drop her while carrying the coffin, and the apple dislodges — that’s how she wakes up. Way darker than the modern rewrites. But at least those stories weren’t afraid to make you uncomfortable.
