Exactly. I've narrowed it down to the concentration of power, specifically. We need a decision making apparatus in which power is decentralized and modular; so that it is evenly distributed. Something like blockchain for governance.

I'm retarded, so I don't have all of the answers, but a quick solution might be a grouping algorithm for direct democracy that requires a 75% yea to pass. Have an algorithm group voting adults by geographical area 150 at a time (Dunbar's number). Then another layer of 150 bottom level groups. Then another. Then the fourth layer would encompass about a half billion people, which would form a top level government for the US.

Any group can vote to put a single bill per year targeted at a single layer and it is voted on by everyone in the targeted group. All expenses are paid for by the targeted group and must be enumerated by who, what, when, how much, etc in the bill itself.

To my mind, this solves the problem of mob rule and allows for tailored government (or lack thereof if desired) at all levels. It also removes the need for scumfuck politicians.

Thoughts?
