I am trying to figure out the meaningfulness of this thing I heard today called "yacht rock" that was non-stop on my usually quite listenable station in my car.
The only thing that came to mind was something a former CFCA DJ said of his station's old format "the music of your dead grandmother."
After 3 songs, I turned to a station that alternated between metal and 80s-90s alt-rock as a brain cleanser.
