An ongoing Safari bug since at least 2018 (reported fixed more than once by Apple over the years), Safari TP 176 on macOS 13.4 may have *finally* allowed tables to use `display` properties without utterly breaking:
https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=257458Should be in Safari 17, but not clear if or how it will be supported in macOS 12 (should be fine for macOS 13).
A worst case scenario is users needing to update hardware to get a fix for this years-old bug.
