I don't have any particular affinity for any “superhero”, nor any comic line.
I *do* have an affinity for good movies, however.
And here's the thing - both of the Spider-Verse movies are really good…and a lot of that is that they have the freedom of their source material because they're beautifully animated.
The “live" movies can't do that. When they go "big" they look stupid, digital, goofy, blue-light whatever.
But these can be *expressive*. It's different. And better.
