I have a wired obsession with #Meshtastic developments and I don’t know why. I guess it’s inherent in our Nostr + Bitcoin culture.
I keep watching this space and will eventually pull the trigger on a setup. My wife may disown me at that point tho. 🤣
The highest value area of Nostr dev innovation would be to break out of jailed RF spectrum (i.e. jailed 5G GPRS) through client and hardware operability over #WAHM Wide Area Hashed Mesh networks, which utilise other areas of the electromagnetic spectrum using very cheap and powerful SDR Software Defined Radio chips.
The Lilygo T-Deck is a game-changing pocket #meshtastic device with a good screen and decent compute... and crying out for a groundbreaking Nostr client. It's definitely prototype/experimental with limitations, but likely the nexus of sovereign mobile devices.
