I checked: Kew, London has a combined sewer system. So on top of this being absolutely absurd, coffee poured into the street drains goes into the sanitary sewers anyway (in normal conditions).
Meanwhile, during high rain events, Kew dumps raw sewage into waterways... A cup of coffee is utterly irrelevant.
