I am a former Islamophobe who once had a prejudice against your religion but have since come to realize that the presence of fanatical fundamentalists is, sadly, not restricted to any one faith. (The U.S. has shown in recent years that it has more than its share of Christian fanatics.) I want to be honest about this past viewpoint of mine as a way of taking responsibility for it.
