WIth Reddit seemingly self-destructing, a lot of people have been wondering if there are alternatives on the Fediverse.
I do NOT recommend Lemmy. I have a serious long-standing deep concerns about the developers which you can see on a thread from 2021 at https://mstdn.social/@feditips/106835057054633379
As far as I know, nothing has changed since then and Lemmy's issues remain.
There's also Kbin, which seems less problematic, though it does mention a cryptocurrency on its website :/
