#PennedPossibilities 649: What research did you conduct for your WIP, and did you uncover anything surprising or fascinating?
Taking Fling With A Daphnaie as my latest WIP, I researched types of nymphs / tree spirits in Greek tradition and landed on Daphnaie (which is a thing I can almost spell unaided now!). The thing that surprised me was finding out that Laurel bushes / trees are what we get bay leaves from.
