Bookmarked Exploring the Block Hooks API in WordPress 6.5 – WordPress Developer Blog.
WordPress 6.5’s block hooks seem interesting.
Like, on my site, I currently use a custom render callback to tack a “permashortlink” onto the Post Date block. But I might be able to use a block hook in the future.
Also, IndieBlocks’ Facepile block. Right now it’s part of my theme explicitly. But if I could prepend it to the “core” Comments block automatically, that’d make the theme more portable. I think.
