A number of folks have asked what I think about this story. First, I think Ezra Edelman’s film must come out. Over the years, in talking to folks he interviewed, and to those who’ve seen the film, it seems clear he understands Prince’s story in a way few do, far beyond the myth that the man made himself. That’s a good thing, worthy of a truly unique artist.
