I fancied myself a bubblegum pro as a kid, & learned that the very best POP sound (the one that could startle people) came from bubbles blown very small, but very tight.
But this wasn't my aspiration.
I wanted to be able to blow saliva bubbles. Somehow, the boys in my class could form saliva bubbles and launch off them off their tongues. They actually took flight.
I never learned how.
And to this day, I regret it.
