Just heard a theory that triglycerides are caused by high carbs diet because the body uses glucose first and never gets to use the fats in your diet.
They just then basically accumulate in your blood and body (also don’t forget that insulin’s job is to convert glucose into fat). In the end of this, you get heart diseases.
tl;dr : sugar causes triglycerides, not saturated fats
