The kid energy at the elementary school talent show was adorable!
While technical skills were all over the map, the courage and enthusiasm the kids had for whatever they were doing was a balm of authenticity. Which is odd to say about a staged event, but so true.
It was the antithesis of the "generative AI" vibe that permeates much of daily online. Authentic.
Kids tap dancing, playing twinkle little star on a ukulele, and whatever the gender ambiguous tweens choreographed, with kazoos.
