French Existentialism is bad news. somewhat appealing, but wrong. By the time Camus was writing, his audience would be much more familiar with hell than hades. The essential (lol) premise that quantity of existence is paramount to quality does echo some Christian and Buddhist concepts until you realize sisyphus is already dead.
