The recent "Google allows #fingerprinting for ads" story

reminds me of a thing to check if you have a Google Account. You can't turn off the actual fingerprinting (that's kind of the point) but you can reduce the resulting risk by turning off ad personalization
The setting is at https://myadcenter.google.com/home (set "Personalized Ads" to "Off")
