I've really been enjoying jumping back into freelance work. While there are definitely pros and cons, I'm really enjoying the variety of jumping on a whole range of projects in a rather short amount of time. A lot of creative energy and output.
And while the stability and investment in a longer term project is nice and rewarding in it's own right, the flexibility of running my own schedule on top of the variety has been a nice change of pace.
