I’m delighted to see the energy surrounding #KamalaHarris’ campaign.
I’m also disturbed that many were not motivated to vote given the clear and present state that #Trump presents to American democracy. That ambivalence reflects a poor understanding of the fragility of political freedom, an ignorance of how quickly things can turn to autocracy. This ennui is not confined to just the young, I’ve seen it across all age cohorts
