It very much still is. Longmeadow and East Longmeadow is where all the money people life so it's full of the richer WASP, Jewish, etc. live. Hell, we lived so close to the border of Longmeadow in our last house that my mother had to go to the Springfield Jewish Community Center for her physical therapy. :P So yep... all the elite money of WMass. The surprising one is that Wilbraham is sinking FAST with high property tax so the money people are leaving in droves.
