Loads of worms in the piles here, although interestingly there were very few worms from the green material donated this week. Most of it came from one plot which is excavated every year.
Digging a plot kills the soil life. I keep telling people here but the proof was right there today for anyone who’ll take the time to see it.
Had that been a quantity of my soil there would have been hundreds of worms in there.
