A true masterpiece and in my opinion one of the few perfect films. Incredibly hard to find streaming. With it's stunning visuals, filmed in 28 different countries, dreamlike narrative and moral ideals, and yes ladies... the Lee Pace, from the director of the Cell with Jennifer Lopez... prepare for an orgasm of the eyeballs Tarsem Singh's the Fall.
Hosted by Nosnevets (npub17ra…henz)
There will we a watching party with live chat streamed thanks to nobody (npub1wtu…e7js) with Nostr nest discussion afterward!

Critics and Plebs agree!
Pretty sure I’d watch Lee Pace read the instruction manual for a toaster.
Looks incredible, might join in!
Looking forward to this.

A marvelous film. Highly underrated.
100% films like these, they hold up a mirror to the audience that then personifies and personalizes the narrative. It’s remarkable.
Always loved the art direction in this film.
Good films are especially rare in recent years. I can't wait to see this one!
This is my favourite movie! I’ve watched it dozens of times and will never get sick of it. So beautiful 🤩
Film looks kinda nuts , loving it.
Nostr movie nights are an amazing idea 🤜🤛
Will someone run it via zap.stream?
This is one of my favorites 🥹
I had it on DVD 📀 it cost me $29.99 and I gave it away in a garage sale when I though I could just stream any movies I like forever at any time.
I love colours and the slight twists in the story as perceived in the child’s mind. So many good themes of love, loss, recovery and vengeance. I try to make it for the live stream.
Brilliantly put and that’s how these perfect movies spread… almost like kind of a like a living form, using inquisitive humans to be survive in the collective consciousness.
Lynch, tarkovsky.
2001 a space Odyssey.
And French surrealist or French new wave film.
I love when I can show a film to a group of people and literally everyone comes out thinking the movie is about something different. And you have them explain said some how every explanation makes sense even though for years you thought your explanation was what made sense.
Tarsem, I only know of two things he's done. I think he might work commercials.
But truly, with only 2 films, one I would absolutely call an Auteur.
One of my favorites!
You're a rare one. Not many I talk to know of this film.
I often speak of how well it's put together. Like a crystal, each aspect of the story a hologram of the full, the gorgeous visuals.
Then people are like where is it streaming where can I find it?
And I'm like, well when I first watched it I rented it from blockbuster, I could've bought it for $20. Now every time I wasn't to die it to people I check the price on eBay and it's up around $260 right now🤷🏽 so I go to the local movie store I buy posters from and rent it for $5
Since you're interested in movie night I'll say it like this npub17xu3rtcu0ftqw03mswa8a2ngz3nsgrs0h0wjv4z942qwvhp8fs3qzcadls (npub17xu…adls)
These are what I call perfect films.
There's many great films! Very good! But there's very few perfect films.
And for me a perfect film is a film that you can take people too and afterwards without effort conversation spontaneously commences. And even if you've seen the film a million times, someone else's perspective usually shines a while new light on that film for you, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
These films are usually by auteurs and they're usually surreal or have some heavy element of surreality to them.
But that's just my style.
So you see there's kind of 3 factors there.
There's many movies I absolutely love and would easily call a favorite. But it will only have 2 of the 3 and I never find myself calling it a perfect film.
But if you want a perfect film. Go watch Tarsem's the Fall. Go watch Mullholland Dr. Go watch 2001 a space Odyssey . Go watch Paprika by Satoshi Kon. Go watch Stalker by Tarkovsky. Go watch the Holy Mountain by Jodorowski.
You don't need to know what they mean. They will speak to you in some way.
And when you speak to others about what the film told you, that other person is going to tell you something completely different. And you will get a deeper understanding of the film, but be even more lost than you were before and the only way to fix that is to show more people and ask more people. 🤷🏽
Here's the link if you want to watch it on your own time and just join the nest afterward.
