In my walk, I've learned
That every moment passes,
And life goes on.
That time never tires,
And yesterday always fades.
That childhood is a game,
And youth is like spring.
And both merge
When old age finds us.
That passion drives us,
And fear paralyzes.
That habit becomes routine,
And all attachment enslaves.
In my walk, I've learned
That people sometimes change
When power tempts them.
Though money is needed,
It can never heal a wound.
That courage is strength,
And submission can destroy.
That truth sets us free,
And lies keep us bound.
That wisdom enchants,
And the mind works magic.
That hard work brings no shame,
And goodbyes bring nostalgia.
In my walk, I've learned
That youth never stops,
Even as old age approaches.
That school may teach us,
But home shapes who we are.
That dreams should be chased,
But peace must be built.
That freedom is a right,
And arrogance leads to ruin.
That forgiveness is a cure,
Healing us slowly,
While grudges are torment,
Disturbing our peace.
I've learned in my walk
That children are not ours to keep,
But seagulls of the sea.
And when their wings grow strong,
They take flight and go.
That a friend is a treasure,
One to cherish dearly.
And family is the temple
Where we first learn love.
That tomorrow is uncertain,
And humility is a virtue.
That death is inevitable,
Yet life is the lesson.
That the universe or your God
Is the source of faith,
And love is the greatest hope.
In my walk, I've learned
That life never stops,
And time moves on.
So we must live with joy,
For tomorrow is never promised.
