Smart move by #ElonMusk as he is desperate to keep influential people on #Twitter / #X & away from future #Fediverse rivals (which includes #Threads & to a smaller extent, #Tumblr & #PostNews).
I actually would not be surprised if #Meta copied this by allowing creators on #Instagram, Threads & #Facebook to do the same in the future.
