Oh! It might take another 2 years, but we’re getting our first Ikea in Aotearoa New Zealand! Hopefully they also do online orders because it’s a 7 hour drive from Wellington to Auckland.
Last year they opened a Costco, the first in the country, and it was incredibly popular. I went twice, got bunch of stuff, was worth it, but again, it’s also in Auckland which is a very long drive by kiwi standards.
