This “GOP is weird” trope goes too easy on them. It’s not just weird, that these “freedom lovers” celebrate taking rights away, insulting anyone who isn’t them, or who just disagrees with them. It’s not as much weird as it is sociopathic. And still the press treats them like “normal” people.
