Of all the career paths I started down and abandoned, I think I should've stuck with counselling psychology. I don't know how long I could've stayed in it as a profession because I feel everything, but at least I'd feel useful, at least have some skills to help myself. I feel like, on top of everything else, counseling for climate and political related anxiety and whatnot is going to become such a giant need in the near future, i.e., right now. Prozac sure isn't going to take this edge off.
