Had it with a pint of bitter and a few biscuits (aka cookies) for dessert, and it was one of the best meals I've ever eaten.
There's a whole tl;dr about how I was there on business and had begged off of some quasi-optional after work socializing with (male) colleagues because I was having the devil's own menstrual cramps; and then I got to sit in my hotel room and drop my work manners & watch Coronation Street & catch up on my daily travel expense reports. Not strictly heaven, but still pretty damned nice. 😎
