if it’s an AC pump (which I assume) running it on solar is going to fraught with inefficiency, you will lose a bunch of energy to the DC -> AC conversion… like enough to need a substantial number of panels to keep it running, plus AC pumps don’t like voltage variation… so your gonna have to be pretty careful about how you design the supply box.
