They have Ni-Cad \u003c?\u003e style batteries and have problems if they aren't charged just right. I found leaving them to die before a full charge extends the life. I also buy replacements on Amazon/Ebay pretty cheap. I'd check the battery type and see if there are any tricks to \"resetting\" it first.",
