Yeah but if I have all history disabled and forced private mode, why is it saving anything? Yeah browsers need some place to persist data, local storage, session, cookies all that fun stuff. But what if I don't want it to persist. You can store most of that in memory, in some cases it always is then persists to the disk on the tab thread on certain tab lifecycle hooks tmk.
