The detention of at least nine Israeli soldiers for gang-raping a Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman Prison has revealed the systematic torture being used in Israeli detention camps.
Since October and the start of the conflict, more than 36 Palestinians have died in that one facility.
The Association for Civil Rights in Israel along with five other rights groups filed a petition in May before the Israeli Supreme Court to close the prison.
