A repeated situation that I find annoying and sadly funny: People message me to let me know they got #COVID19, and they'll tell me how they did so despite being cautious and trying to follow my advice. Then I'll look at their social feeds: Concerts, parties, bars, airports, planes, and conferences without masks.
I can't tell if people purposely lie or if they honestly believe that because they stayed home that one time a month ago, it's reasonable they went to five other crowded, risky events.
