the actual gif? maybe base64 😅 but I am not sure many, if any clients will render them. it's also going to make the json needed to be stored, much larger than sharing a link to it hosted elsewhere.
Hence why most relays filters won't even allow the post in the first place. I'm assuming this is what you meant
