If you’re a kid or young adult, this was not your fault.
You deserved better, you deserve better, and your gender identity (cis, trans, nonbinary, questioning, etc) is never something you need to apologise for.
Nor is your gender identity something to push on someone else.
We all experience life from different perspectives and your needs are valid, whether they’re met or not.
(Same for sexual orientation etc obv.)

TL;DR:

Don’t bring a device anywhere you don’t need to, but if you do, then use as many annoying password features, locks, blocks, time-outs, limit app permissions etc as possible.
Activate airplane mode, turn the device off, remove the battery, and leave it at home or in a whatever kind of pouch idfk.
Don’t use biometrics (face unlock, fingerprint pads, eye tracking) if you can help it.
