I just haven't seen that scenario, where one company locks up an entire industry, happen. I thought Microsoft and WalMart had OSs, office suite SW, and consumer retail locked up. But then someone comes up with something different.
There's no practical limit on the amount of housing the can be built, although zoning rules are an impediment. DeFi is challenging traditional banking, and there are many sources of traditional financial services besides BoA.
