I could probably come up with a list of 100 things that were better under any ruler, no matter who.
It is like the climate hoaxters, who only look at data that seems compelling for the point they want to make.
For example there was this rule that the kings men had the right to sleep with the the bride of a common man on their wedding night
They rode out to a wedding, ate all the food, drank all the wine and raped the bride
