NVK (npub1az9…m8y8) you were talking about SD vs QR for airgap hardware signing devices - I’ll agree SD feels safer because it’s one-shot and hardware to talk to it is simpler than a camera, but still, managed NAND is basically just another little microcontroller that could get pwned. (Or is this getting to silly levels of paranoia now?!)
So what’s the ‘ideal’ airgap data transfer medium? Magnetic tape/stripe card/floppy honestly is the only I can think of, and that sucks (though floppy disk Coldcard would look cool af). Punchcard also 😂
