Google's use of public water is a trade secret

"The average Google data center uses 450,000 gallons of water a day. The data center in Berkeley County used four times that amount in 2022 — 1.8 million gallons a day, or about 662 million gallons that year. This was potable water supplied through Berkeley County Water and Sanitation.
Google has maintained that its groundwater use is a protected "trade secret." Conservationists and community members disagree."
