…It sounds like he’s SO focused on singing “correctly” and “precisely” that he can’t sing stylishly; such as w/more vibrato, or letting words naturally go a tiny bit sharp or flat as singers naturally do as they open and close syllables.
Also, he sings into his soft palette too much (imo) which to me, sounds incongruent with all these modern popular music styles he’s crafting, and better suited to choral or opera music...
