"content": "TIL The largest swimming pool in the US was so large, lifeguards needed rowboats to patrol it. Fleishhaker Pool, built in San Francisco in 1924, measured 1,000 x 150 feet, contained 6.5 million gallons of water, and could hold 10,000 swimmers. In 1999 it was turned into parking for the zoo.\n\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fleishhacker_Pool\n#til #todayilearned\nhttps://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/1fgqzhs/til_the_largest_swimming_pool_in_the_us_was_so/\nhttps://noc.social/system/media_attachments/files/113/137/232/359/343/498/original/bf6ee0ea95b563e2.jpg\n",
