nah, just gonna use virtualbox , it supports multiple displays now so i can have it take over my main screens with my windows stuff in the little fast bright screen below for web and nostr shitposting
i miss other things also, copy-on-select and middle click paste are baked into my muscle memory, and there simply is no way to make windows understand this concept, and sadly many devs on linux don't even know what that means!!!!
i'm horrified because i remember reading the first books about X window system and the logic behind all the things in it, the middle click paste and copy ond select thing was an early fixture and you simply can't forget that, or how much time it saves, i mean, it's insane how much more clicks and waiting you have to do on windows do do copy and paste, even mac, fuck mac lol, same shit, except they made it long click, woo hoo, sure, saves strain but not time, fucking nutters in the UI departments of microsoft and apple
windows literally ripped off CDE which was an early elaboration on top of the Motif window manager, and yes KDE is based on this same root, so KDE and Windows GUI are cousins
