There is simply a 0-100k sat issue. For no coin new npubs there is really nothing to use except a custodial solution like cashu.
Everyone has a lightning address automatically at npub.cash
A self custody lightning channel is 100k sats from Zeus or Mutiny. All that is needed is the clarity of this 100k sat gap. Beyond that a channel can be opened.
I have been using MinibitsCash (nprofile…l3vp) with great success since it launched. In the cashu space there has been upfront and honest running of mints. The community has gained a lot of trust and is dedicated to the succes of the project.
