Some other interesting tools you might look at are Vym (free as in beer and Stallman) and EdrawMax (not free in any sense). Vym can work between a mind map and a graph, as it outputs fairly consistent XML in native form. (I'm making some assumptions on why/how you are utilizing lines.)",
