Says here, New Mexico is “A Light in the Desert.” Makes sense to me, and I’m happy to live in a place that welcomes everyone and treats people well. It’s such a low bar, but somehow over half of the country struggles to clear it. It feels almost as though #NewMexico is a part of the Fediverse for how welcoming it is, and having found both in the past few years makes my life better.
