I once lived in a super groovy MCM apartment that had a Chinese garden influenced design - it was beautiful. Years later, I returned to the Seattle Capital Hill neighborhood to show it to my family and it was gone - replaced by a giant bland box that probably has 3x the capacity. 🙁
